Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and RecruitedIB ("RecruitedIB", "we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the RecruitedIB website, course materials, downloadable templates, flashcards, practice tools, student portal, and consultations (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, submitting payment, redeeming a promotional code, or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

RecruitedIB is an independent educational preparation resource. We are not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, placement service, broker-dealer, investment adviser, accountant, or provider of financial, legal, tax, or career advice. Nothing in the Service is an offer, recommendation, or solicitation relating to any security or investment.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any investment bank, financial institution, university, or employer. Any company, program, or institution referenced in the materials is named solely for educational illustration, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.

We do not guarantee any outcome. We make no promise that you will receive an interview, an internship, an offer, employment, a particular compensation level, or any other result. Examples, sample answers, and any figures presented are illustrative only. Your results depend on your own effort, background, market conditions, and factors outside our control.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at recruitedib@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

Accounts are personal and issued to a single named individual. We may suspend or terminate any account that shows evidence of sharing, resale, automated access, or other abuse.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Service for your own individual interview preparation during your access period.

You may not, and may not permit anyone else to:

• share, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, gift, or transfer your account or credentials;
• allow simultaneous or shared use of your account by another person;
• copy, reproduce, republish, post, distribute, broadcast, or publicly display the guides, flashcards, email templates, question banks, spreadsheets, or any other materials;
• create derivative works from, or incorporate the materials into, any competing or commercial product, course, tutoring service, or study group offering;
• scrape, crawl, harvest, bulk-download, screenshot systematically, or use any automated means to extract the materials;
• upload the materials to any file-sharing site, messaging group, cloud drive, forum, or artificial-intelligence training dataset;
• remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, watermark, or proprietary notice;
• reverse engineer, decompile, probe, or attempt to defeat any access control, paywall, or security measure;
• use the Service in violation of any law, school honor code, employer policy, or third-party right.

Violation of this section is a material breach. We may immediately suspend or terminate your access without refund, and pursue all available legal and equitable remedies, including injunctive relief and recovery of damages and costs.

All content in the Service — including text, guides, flashcard databases, question banks, email templates, spreadsheets, documents, graphics, logos, the RecruitedIB name and crest, design, code, and organization — is owned by RecruitedIB or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except the limited license expressly stated in Section 4. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars on the pricing page and are exclusive of any taxes we are required to collect. Payment is processed by Stripe; by purchasing, you also agree to Stripe's terms. We do not receive or store your full card number.

We may change prices, package contents, and promotional offers at any time. Changes do not affect a purchase already completed. Promotional codes are limited-time, may be withdrawn, corrected, or cancelled at any time, may not be combined unless stated, have no cash value, and may not be resold or published. We may void any code and reverse any enrollment obtained through fraud, error, abuse, duplicate accounts, or unauthorized distribution of a code.

If a price or offer is displayed in error, we may cancel the affected order and refund any amount charged.

Unless otherwise stated at purchase, enrollment grants access through the end of the covered recruiting season, ending May 31, 2027. Access ends automatically on that date without further notice and no refund or proration is owed for time not used. We may, at our discretion, offer renewal or extension terms.

The Service is delivered digitally and access is granted immediately upon purchase. Because the materials are consumable on delivery and cannot be returned, all sales are final and all fees are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or is expressly granted by us in writing at our sole discretion.

By purchasing, you request immediate access and, to the extent permitted by law, waive any statutory cooling-off or withdrawal right that would otherwise apply once access begins.

Chargebacks filed instead of contacting support may result in immediate termination of access. If you believe you were charged in error, email recruitedib@gmail.com first and we will review it promptly.

Certain packages include one-to-one consultations, and additional 45-minute consultations may be purchased separately. Consultations are educational coaching sessions only and are not career placement, recruitment, referral, or professional advisory services.

• Consultation credits are tied to your account, are non-transferable, and have no cash value.
• Rescheduling requires at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations inside 48 hours, no-shows, and arrivals more than 15 minutes late forfeit the credit.
• Unused credits expire at the end of your access period.
• We may reschedule a session for illness, emergency, or technical failure; in that case your credit is preserved.
• Sessions may not be recorded by either party without the other's prior written consent.

You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the Service, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account or system, introduce malicious code, misrepresent your identity, harass any person, or submit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content through our forms or practice tools. Content you submit (for example practice answers or contact messages) must be yours to submit.

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Stripe for payments, Supabase for accounts and data storage, and hosting and delivery providers. We may also link to third-party websites and resources. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, content, or availability, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, update, suspend, add, or remove features and materials at any time, including for maintenance, corrections, or improvements. We may discontinue the Service; if we permanently discontinue it during a paid access period, our maximum responsibility is a pro-rated refund of the unused portion of what you paid.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE MATERIALS ARE COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECRUITEDIB AND ITS OWNERS, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, LOST OFFERS OR EMPLOYMENT, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, AND EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO RECRUITEDIB IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RecruitedIB and its owners, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your content, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or your unauthorized sharing or distribution of the materials.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion by emailing recruitedib@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we suspect fraud or abuse, or if required by law. On termination for breach, no refund is owed. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 5, 8, and 13 through 18 — will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and RecruitedIB agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York, and each waives any objection to that venue. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, to the extent permitted by law. Claims must be brought individually and not as part of any class or representative proceeding. Before filing, you agree to contact recruitedib@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and RecruitedIB regarding the Service and supersede any prior understanding. If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or severed and the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page, and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. Questions: recruitedib@gmail.com.
